Summer Camp Information

Our program is taking precautions and the necessary steps to ensure safety during the COVID-19 pandemic. As a private provider operated program, I will follow the guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), along with the Department of Children and Families (DCF) guidelines and regulations. My main priority is to keep all the child/children and staff safe, while operating a program where child/children can feel like kids again and get back to exploring and creating with their minds.

How will BEQCC keep your child/children safe?

Drop-off/Pick-up: Location for drop-off and pick-up is through the school car loop area. Parents will stay in their car and a staff member will sign-in student with an iPad and take the child’s temperature with a touchless thermometer daily. Parent will use the remind app for announcing student pick-up. A staff member will have their child/children ready for pick-up at the door. When child is released a staff member will sign out the child/children on an iPad.

Field Trips: There will be scheduled field trips.

Activities: Activity schedules will be emailed to parents.

Meals: Breakfast and lunch will be provided by the BCPS Summer Meal Program beginning the second week of camp Mondays – Thursdays.
*Parents must provide morning snack/breakfast and lunch for your child/children on Fridays.

Water: Please keep in mind it’s very hot during the summer and plenty of water is needed throughout the day. Providing a water bottle would be greatly appreciated.
