School is over so what do I do for summer? Place your child in Bright Eyes Quality Afterschool Child Care, Inc. (BEQCC) Summer Camp.
This is where we started when COVID-19 hit our families hard. We made sure that we followed all of the Center for Disease Control (CDC) protocols to keep our families, staff and students safe while operating a program that kids can feel like a kid.
It’s a few years later and we are still making sure we keep our campers safe, but with so much more fun and they are learning while attending.
Our programs are theme based, offering learning opportunities all summer long.
It might be superhero week, where we talk about real and not so real superheroes. Our doctors, fire fighters, police and military are heroes we include.
Ecology week, where the Florida Everglades, waterways, canals, and lakes are talked about. How we need to take care of the Environment now and for the future.
Do you like dinosaurs? Our students love them. We may have a dinosaur dig and learn about the creatures that roamed Florida millions of years ago.
Summer is not just playing games and watching movies, it is time to learn, explore and have fun.
Schedules are emailed weekly so you can plan for the upcoming week. In the past we have been fortunate to have breakfast and lunch provided when Broward County Public Schools (BCPS)offers them for their summer school programs. We hope they continue to provide it to us Monday through Thursday each week. Parents provided morning snacks/breakfast and lunch on Fridays and when the BCPS cannot or does not provide the meals.
We do ask that parents provide a labeled bottle for drinking water. The summers are very hot, and you know that water is lifesaving. The heat index is over 100° some afternoons. We want to make sure that your child is hydrated to stay safe.
